During the week, my time is precious as it seems that there is always something happening, always a job to do and I find that I’m always in a rush! With the kids at school, a part time job, my PTA volunteering, my blog, trying to keep on top of the household chores, after school clubs, homework and a puppy to contend with, it can be hard to fit everything in and prepare a meal for the family that is nutritious and homemade. However, where possible I do like to make meals from scratch and one way I find I can achieve this is to use my slow cooker, which allows me to get on with life while it cooks food for me, albeit with a little preparation at the start.
