Great Bloggers Bake Off

Mummy Mishaps

Rules for 2015:

**The new bake off linky will open the Wednesday night or the Thursday morning following the new episode of the Great British Bake Off ,  with a new theme based on that evenings episode.

*The linky will remain open until the following Monday at 12pm.

** All entries must carry the Great Bloggers Bake Off badge (see above) and a link to my blog (http:///www.mummymishaps.co.uk) please

**When you tweet your bake off recipe, please @JennyPaulin with the #GBBOBloggers2015 hashtag and I will RT for you and add it to the pinterest board.

**Each week a blogger or bloggers will be selected as a Star Baker and will receive a special badge to wear with pride on their blog.

**The recipe MUST be relevant to the bakes that are made in the TV version.  For example for episode 1 of series 6 the baking themes are:

Madeira cake
re-inventing the classic 1970s Black Forest gateau
frosted walnut cake
So any bake based on those cake genres are fine. The black forest gateau could be a cake/cupcake or a cheesecake or an actual gateau. The madeira could be a birthday cake etc..  and the Frosted Walnut Cake could be a large cake or cupcakes also. It is your take on the themes. You can of course follow the technical challenge or a Paul or Mary recipe to the letter also – your choice. it is just fun

** New for 2015 – Normally for the bake off I ask you to bake something new , however, I appreciate that it does get expensive each week and I know time is precious during the holidays. Not to mention eating it all lol!! Therefore, I am going to allow old recipes to be linked up as long as they haven’t been used for the GBBO linky before. Also, they must still  be relevant to the themes (as per above) and you cannot add an old recipe every week, after all this is a bake along.

Remember, this is not a serious linky at all (unless you make it so of course!). It is just for fun, after all, and because we all love the show and baking. Any blogger is welcome to enter whatever their baking skills are. Please don’t be afraid to link up any disasters – credit will be given for effort too!

There will also be some fab prizes for the final – but only bloggers who have baked and joined in with my bake off linky are eligible to enter.

There will also be some guest hosting of the GBBO Bloggers 2015 – more details to follow

Thank you xx
