This decadent Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Cake is great for those following a plant based diet. It is fudgy and delicious and the iced cobweb and added spiders are optional!
It is Vegan week on the Great British Bake Off tonight and for someone who has never made a vegan cake before, this proved to be a little tricky. However, thankfully after a third attempt in the kitchen last Friday, this Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Cake was created and I was very happy with it.
Cauliflower Chilli Con Carne is a delicious veggie chilli con carne which uses cauliflower and lentils in place of meat or a meat substitute such as Quorn mince. It was made in a slow cooker which helps cook the vegetables and lentils to perfection.
With the over indulgence of Easter now behind us (although it was a lot of tasty fun while it lasted!), I thought I would go with a healthy cake free recipe for a change this week.
So Week 5 was all about bakes using alternative ingredients and 25 of us had a go at creating something free from…whether it be gluten, sugar, dairy, or in some cases a mixture. Some of you even went for a vegan bake.
