I have a brilliant festive guest post today from the wonderfully creative and clever Maggy from Red Ted Art, showing you how to make some cute DIY Christmas Ornaments. I know that my boys will love to try and make some of these, so please read on and find out how to make them.
This fun creepy Witches Cauldron Cake will make a great centrepiece at any Halloween party, read own to discover how to make one yourself this Halloween.
With it being Halloween at the end of the month, my boys are started to get a little excited already. This is largely due to the fact that the school Halloween disco is on the 20th and they, like many of the other school children, love this because they get to dress up in fancy dress and so do the teachers and PTA helpers. I have to admit, *whispers* it is my favourite disco of the three held each year too!
This brilliant themed Gruffalo Themed Packed Lunch is such fun to make and will make all Gruffalo fans, big and small, smile with joy when they tuck into to enjoy their special food.
So with a sad wave goodbye to the summer holidays, today saw the start of the new school year for my boys today and with Jenson now starting year 1 and Burton year 3 (and entering juniors), it seems that school life is passing by too quickly.
At the start of the summer holidays we had a couple of weeks where the weather was mostly wet, dull and well rubbish! However, to be fair since then we have had lots of sunny and warm days without any rain, so it came with a bit of a shock the morning to awake to a slightly darker morning and the sound of rain outside my bedroom window.
I have to be honest neither myself or my partner are big sport fans, however with the Olympics being on the TV we have seen some of the coverage and I have to say that it has been great to watch and how well have we done so far? Go Team GB!
