I was gifted some items from simplybe.co.uk in return for an honest review.
As a busy Mum with two young boys, I do not have much time in the mornings to look my best before setting off on the school run. Trying to sort out the animals, feed them and the boys, make the packed lunches and do a lot of shouting and repeating myself to get the boys to get ready for school, well it is hardly surprising that I look and feel harassed before I even leave the house!
As much as I enjoy cooking and baking for my family, it is always nice when I do not have to and to have someone else prepare a meal for me instead. I suppose as a family we eat out maybe once a month, sometimes more like if we are away on holiday. There was a time when my boys were younger that we hardly never ate out. Mostly due to them being fussy eaters and also because sometimes the hassle of keeping them occupied while waiting for food, was too much for me to be able to relax and enjoy the ambience of eating out!
This Easy Christmas Bauble Cake is perfect for the festive season, to sell at a Christmas fayre or for entertaining at home.
Can I mention the ‘C’ word? Seeing as though the big light switch on has taken place in our town this afternoon, and Santa’s grotto is now open for business, then I suppose Christmas can now be mentioned on my blog.
It also means that I can share my first festive blog post for 2018. It is for this very Easy Christmas Bauble Cake which I think looks colourful and fun. Furthermore, it will appeal to kids of all ages over the festive season.
Ever since they were very young, my two boys have loved taking part in Easter egg hunts at this time of year. Obviously, the main incentive is the reward of getting to eat chocolate at the end of it, but even so they will happily look for hidden items in the garden over and over again!
