This time last year we still had Sky TV, and this meant access to some channels that we no longer have. One of these was the Disney channel, and it introduced Burton and Jenson to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Both boys still think back to those happy months of being able to watch the Disney Channel, and in fact just the other day, I over heard Jenson telling his friend that we used to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates too, it was one of my favourites!!!

Sometimes I get asked to make cakes for friends and last year I made the Princess castle Cake for Burton’s friend Charlotte. This year her Mum asked if I would make another cake for her 5th birthday and the theme for the cake (and her brilliant party) was, of course, Frozen. Now, as I have said and shown on my blog in the past, I am not very good at using fondant icing so I knew immeditately that my cake would not be as amazing and ornate as some of the fantastic Frozen cakes that I have seen with awe the last 10 months or so.
