The week before I went on holiday, I wanted to use up some bits and bobs I had in my kitchen, and as I needed to make a cake for playgroup anyway, it was the perfect opportunity to use them up in a tasty way.
Although I do not write about it as much on here as I once did when they boys were younger and before school entered our way of family life, we do like to get out and about as much as we can and make the most of what the great British outdoors has to offer.
Now I have to admit to using popcorn rather a bit recently in my cake recipes. it is simply for two reasons : 1. I have been sent lots by various companies this last month 2. It just works!
