A few weeks ago I received an unexpected delivery in the post, of some South African apples and pears inside a lovely and roomy cool bag, which I have had lots of use out of for picnics ever since.
I like using up over ripe fruit in recipes as I do hate waste especially with fruit because it can be expensive. I do find it annoying when fruit becomes unedible very quickly, BUT of course this does make it perfect for using in baking instead.
Just after Jenson’s birthday back in March, I was sent an ice cream cake pan to review. It was a shame it arrived after and not before because his birthday party, for his theme was Ice Cream but it was my fault for not replying to the company quicker really!!
