So tonight saw the final of the Great British Bake Off – did your choice of Baker win? Mine did, as Nancy has been my favourite from the start so I feel very happy right now for her. Sadly, with the ending of the GBBO on the TV means the end of the Great Bloggers Bake Off for another year – what will I do with myself now?
So welcome to the penultimate Great Bloggers Bake Off round up, otherwise known as week 9. This week was all about patisserie and the bakes were split as follows:
Siganture : Baklava
Technical : German Schichttorte
Showstopper : Elegant Entremets
The whole time I have hosted and taken part in my Great Bloggers Bake Off, I dont think I have ever attempted a technical bake, preferring instead to have more of a free reign to create my own take on a theme and because, quite frankly, the technical bakes are a faff!! I am not one for faff, and I do not like to follow a long recipe which is why I make my own bakes my own way!!
Welcome to my 8th round up for The Great Bloggers Bake Off, the quarter final edition, where shortly my Star Baker / Bakers will be revealed. However, before that we need to see all of the amazing bakes that were linked up this week.
Welcome to Week 8 of the Great Bloggers Bake Off and the quarter finals of the Great British Bake Off. We are nearing the semi final now, and each week the bakes are getting harder and I am just wanting another cake round quite honestly! While I keep my fingers crossed for a cake week before the end of the series, lets look at this weeks baking theme.
