These Simple Little Jammy Filled Cupcakes are so easy to make and perfect for children to bake with some grown up supervision. Thanks to Dr.Oetker cake making and decorating has never been easier!
The summer holidays can be hard work at times especially if the weather is wet. I like to let the boys do a spot of baking on a wet afternoon, so we can enjoy their creations for tea, or picnics or for entertaining when friends pop over for a play date.
When I was a teenager and still living at home, my family and I would consider it quite the treat to visit a well known chain of pizza making restaurants for lunch, whenever we were in Exeter on a shopping treat. I loved having a pizza there where you could cut your own slice and serve it yourself and of course a large, refillable coke (although there was always too much ice which I don’t like!).
I love baking cakes and I love sharing my cakes with friends and family even more. Last week my good friend Abi had a little house warming to celebrate that she has bought her own little abode, and a select few friends were invited round for a few hours to toast her move and eat some homemade pizza and nibbles. Well, any excuse to bake a cake I say, so of course I offered to take a dessert because I know Abi shares my sweet tooth!
