So and onto this weeks Star Baker………………………….
This person made a fantastic picnic pie and even manged a handle, some lattice work and layers inside and no soggy bottom!!!
Congratulations to Kirstie from Hijacked By Twin with her Porkie Picnic Pie
And Helen and I felt that after all the pretzel entries we had , we had to give a special mention to Wallflower Girl for her Apple Cider & Cheese pretzels which just looked and sounded yummy. And as something of a pretzel making expert herself, Helen Hollywood felt that adding those ingredients to the dough and managing to twist it into pretzel shapes cannot have been easy.
And I love all the lovely Halloween themed goodies that Debbie and her children made – so many great ideas to choose from .
Sorry to those of you who have not yet been a Star Baker – but there is still a chance …..maybe (see below)
So thats it…….. or is it?
Come back Tuesday for more bake making, as this baking lark is too addictive to stop just because the TV series has. We will be looking back at the series and asking you to bake things from the show over the next few weeks – maybe something you wanted to try but didnt have time to, something you could not master but want to give another go or just re visit something you enjoyed making and want to do it again.
Helen The good life mum

Aimee / Wallflower Girl
Thanks so much for the mention! And congrats Kirstie, that is some very impressive lattice work there 🙂
I’m so glad you guys are continuing with “this baking lark” 😀 It’s a great motivation each week to try something new.
Kara
