1. This looks so much fun. And possibly more fun because its unusual this time of year. We are rather partial to a winter BBQ with all of us in coats, hats and scarves, it’s always a really good laugh. x

I am inspired to try a picnic in the garden – we usually go somewhere else for a picnic but there is no reason why we shouldn’t step outside the back door! I had to laugh that it was warmer outside than in the house – I am so glad your heating is now fixed. Popping over from Coombe Mill’s Country Kids Linky x

  4. They are so cute I could eat them on a buttie 😀 Al fresco is great idea in the Spring sunshine and looked like you had fun.. Hope you are all feeling cosy inside now xxx

Gorgeous Jenny, and I think sometimes winter picnics are more fun than summer ones! X

  6. Looks like the boys had a great time and look at all of those picnic guests! I hope there was enough tea and cake to go around! x

  7. Hurray for heating that works! Hurray for sunny days! Hurray for eating lollies outside and not making a mess of the kitchen floor! Not hurray for falling off the wall, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be a matter of weeks (if that) until he conquers it.

    NIpping over from Country Kids.

  8. what lovely photos your garden looks great a perfect place for picnics! I miss our nice big grassy garden and the kids being small enough to enjoy a teddy bear picnic complete with plastic tea cups! Glad you got your heating fixed its still not that warm yet is it!!

Boooo about the boiler but wow, your garden is huge! I have garden envy now. In fact, if I was you I’d live in my garden. Picnics ahoy!

  10. I love impromptu picnics. They’re the best!! We have finally had some sun up north too so I’m hoping its here to stay!!

What lovely pictures. Picnics are such great fun and you’re right all the messy food can come out! Glad you got your heating fixed

  12. Wow – what a great garden! You’re so lucky that the grass is dry enough to sit on – we’d be up to our waistbands in puddle if we sat on ours! 🙂

  13. That’s a cute picture of the three of you – I’m hoping we have our garden finished when the warm weather comes so we can have some picnics too. I always remember me and my brother making a tent out of the clothes maiden and eating out in the garden in summer. I hope you get to enjoy many more this year and that the boys enjoy it xx
