  1. That’s lovely that you have both sets of grandparents still alive, sadly I have none but they did get to meet Sam & Hanna so they did manage to see grandchildren x

Awww I always enjoy your posts about your Grandparents, I know from previous post you adore them. Lovely photos x

  3. Lovely photos to treasure. I’ve been saying this all over the place today, but I can’t urge you strongly enough to sit these wonderful elders down and extract their stories from them. They hold in their heads such an important part of your family history, and your legacy! I deeply regret not asking the questions about the lives of my mum and grandparents before I lost them. It’s the very reason I created SaveEveryStep.com. Wonderful family memories you have right there!

I read this with tears in my eyes. Beautiful photo and beautiful post. B Lloyd is the only grandchild in our family and it is such a special moment being able to introduce grandparents and great grandparents to their next generation X

  5. Such a beautiful post and lovely photographs. Your Grandparents all look so happy holding Burton. It’s lovely that they are here to share your children with you 🙂 x

  6. Ahhh lovely post. I remember another post you wrote about both grandparents ages back and it made think “wow!”. They both seem genuinely lovely and you are lucky to have both. All mine are now gone and I sometimes wish my nanny could have met Little Z. She probably would have said “does that boy never sit down?!” haha! 🙂 love the photos.

Definitely appreciate family more since becoming a parent myself too 🙂 x

I’m not sure what has made me more emotional. Your words, the photos of your grandparents or seeing how tiny Burton was. In fact I think it could be the mixture of all three that turned me into a blubbering wreck.
These are beautiful photos and they are so precious. I love photos of children with their great grandparents. xx

Wow, these photos are prices, your grandparents and little baby look wonderful. How often does Burton see his grandparents and have you ever thought about leaving them babysit him for some time? It would give you some time off your hands, and at the same time, your grandparents would be so excited to take care of him!

  10. Such a lovely post. How lucky your boys are to have their great grandparents in their lives. Apart from my Nan who died this year, all my grandparents passed when I was quite young. I especially miss my maternal Grandmother who was a gentle kind soul. Gorgeous photos of your lovely family.

Beautiful post, brings a tear to my eyes. I wish my boys had met their great grandparents, mine didn’t even get to meet their grandpa. It’s a shame really. I love seeing your pictures of your boys with yours. Gorgeous x
