For a long time I have thought what a good idea it would be to have a subscription where you are sent baking tools with a recipe through the post. Had I the time, know how and money, it is something I might have tried to start up myself. You know, in one of those Dragon Den daydreams!
However, Bake Box have beat me to it and they are now the UK’s first subscription bakeware box where every 2 months you can receive some bakeware and decorating tools plus recipe ideas through your door. Genius!
From just £8.99 per month, you will receive a box with £40 worth of baking and decorating implements, plus recipe cards inside six times a year, which is such good value for money I think. For anyone who loves baking this is such a lovely subscription to have, and it would also make a wonderful gift for someone special who adores bake ware and being inspired.
This was bake box number 3 and the theme was Flower Power and I decided to have a go at making the Rose Cake. I slightly adapted the recipe based on what ingredients I had to hand (nothing new there then!), so I used lime in place of rose flavouring and drizzled it in lime flavoured icing. However, the cake still turned out looking so pretty and striking, and was so easy to make and remove from the rose silicone mould.
I LOVE it! What do you think?
To discover exactly what is inside the Bake Box I have made a little video to show you:
Why now sign up yourself? This would make a great gift for a baking fan too.
I was sent a Bake Box in return for an honest review, which I have done in my own words. I am also now a Bake Box ambassador, so I will be bringing you more Bake Box reviews as they are sent to me.
