Summer is almost here now and soon the summer holidays will be upon us, and so will finding things to do with our children, during those 6 or so weeks.

My two boys LOVE water and any kind of related water play. While we do visit the beach so they can go into the sea, ultimately living in Devon the beaches are packed on hot days during peak season, and the water is not always very warm! There is a local park to us that has an outdoor pool, and we do spend a lot of time there, but again that can get very busy. 

Therefore, the best solution for my two is to have some outdoor toys so they can burn off some energy at home, which does not involve me having to drive through holiday traffic! Their favourite summer outdoor toy is a pool for the garden – something which we do not need to drive to and pay a ticket to park, and a place that will not be jammmed pack on a hot, sunny day! They love having a pool in the garden and I love that I have some free entertainment for them without having to go anywhere!

This rectangular pool is large enough for two boisterous boys like mine and there would even be room for me! (although not likely with my two because they would just soak me with water!).
