It is time for a little round up of some products that I have been sent recently.
A few years ago if someone had offered me some Ryvita® to review, I would have turned it down because I always thought it tasted like cardboard and although healthy, I could not bring myself to eat it. However, after agreeing to try some last month I have to say that I am a Ryvita® convert and am actually a little disappointed that I had not tried any sooner!
Now I have caught the Ryvita® bug, what better way to keep them crispy and fresh than storing them in thier very own stylish and funky tin?
Award winning designer, Ben de Lisi, who I know from when I look at the ladies fashion section on the Debenhams website , has teamed up with Ryvita® to create an exciting new limited edition for the popular Ryvita® Tin range. The bold, fresh and exciting design is to co-incide with the brand moving into a more exciting and dynamic era and I have to say that if the Ryvita® that I have sampled are anything to go on, then I think it is a great move! The Pumpkin Seeds and Oats variety are lovely served alongside some homemade soup.
The stylish tin is exclusively available to buy via from the Ryvita® website and costs £7.49, including postage & packing, and will be available whilst stocks last.
Baby wipes – what a great invention and something that I never knew I missed in my life until I became a Mummy! I am a little naughty because now that my two are beyond the nappy stage, I still buy them because they are great for so many things. From cleaning sticky fingers and dirty faces, wiping mess after dinner on my table, removing my make up, wiping the toilet seat – I mean soooo many uses!
I was asked to try some wipes from Jackson Reece which are much nicer than the ones I normally buy now my boys are no longer babies, because they have been created to be kind to the delicate skin of babies.
These great quality wipes do NOT contain anyalcohol, parabens, perfume or chemicals and the great thing is that they ARE bio degradable, compostable and chlorine free which as a woman who shamelessly uses a lot of wipes, this makes me feel much more comfortable about using these wipes. Even the packaging has been designed to be recyclable. I think this is briliant actually, and so refreshing to see a company making such an essential everyday item so organic and made here in the UK.
Jackson and Reece wipes are available to buy in Boots, Sainsburys, Tesco, John Lewis and Mothercare and cost £2.39 for 64 which I think is on a par with other leading baby wipe brands.
As many of my regular readers will know, Jenson is a HUUUGe monkey fan so when I was asked if I would like to try a product from Big Green Smile I knew straight away which one I would ask for!!
Big Green Smile is an online store which sells natural, organic, eco-friendly products for health, home, beauty and baby. The Jason Kids Only All Natural Shampoo which the boys have been using for the last week, is great because not only does it have a great design feature (ie, a monkey!) but I am happy to allow the boys to use it because it contains the same PH levels as the well know baby brand of bathing products. So it is kind to skin and to eyes and gentle enough to use everyday.
A little goes a long way too and the fragrance is refreshing and not at all over powering and both Burton and Jenson give it a soapy thumbs up!
I was sent all of the above products for the purpose of reviewing, which I have done with complete honesty.
