Since we moved house and had a satellite and its set box installed, my two boys have discovered Mickey Mouse and his clubhouse and all his friends and it has become a firm favourite (alongside the show about that infamous pink pig!). Recently, I was asked if the boys would like to review the Fisher Price Disney Mickey Mouse Fly ‘n’ Slide Clubhouse and the Micky’s Car and Goofy’s Dump Truck which are all part of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse range. Of course I said yes because I knew that Burton and Jenson would be very happy to play with these toys.The Mickey Mouse Fly ‘n’ Slide Clubhouse looks similar to the one featured in the TV show and arrives in several pieces which have to be put together to make the clubhouse.On the plus side it was easy to unpack the pieces as there was not too much excess packaging and ties keeping everythig in place (yay!). There are also easy to understand assembley instructions on the reverse of the box and not on a leaflet inside the box, and no screw drivers were required either which made a nice change! The set comes with a Minnie and Mickey Mouse figure too with movable legs can be moved to allow them to sit and standOnce assembled it looks like this (and if I am able to put it together then anyone can!)
The clubhouse has lots of fun things
*an aeroplane which rotates around the top of the clubhouse
*a see saw
*a fun slide
* 2 chairs and a table
* a secret shoot that the figurines can fall through to get to the slide
* a trap door which is opned by pressing down a platform
* a door which open and shuts
*a carry handle
*windows for seeing into the house I think my only criticism of this Fly ‘n’ Slide is that I am forever reattaching the slide!! I don’t know if it is just that my two are a bit over zealous with their playing, but I do find myself being asked quite often if I can please fix it! However, this aside both boys have had a lot of enjoyment with the clubhouse.The Micky’s Car and Goofy’s Dump Truck are accessories to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse range and are quite simply play vehicles each with a Mickey Mouse and Goofy figurine
The figures have movable legs allowing them to sit in the vehicles and the dumper truck comes with a boulder which can be tipped from the truck.and they can be incorporated into the clubhouse too
Burton and Jenson really like this set, which was helped by the fact that they were already familiar with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show. The Fly ‘n’ Slide set retails for about £30 and can be found at most of the usual places such as Argos and Tesco , and the Mickey’s Car and Goofy’s Dumper Truck cost about £15 each. The toys are suitable for ages 2 and up. Perfect toys for your Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fans
