I have a confession when it comes to printers. Not only am I useless at working out how mine works so I can print something, but once it runs out of ink it tends to be left for months before I buy a replacement so I can use it again (usually when the boys need to hand in their school project!).
I do find that ink for printers is not only expensive but it never seems to last very long, which is why I am so useless at keeping my printer in tip top working order. It appears I am not alone because according to Epson, 76% of people living in the UK (parents with children aged between 5-16), admit that they have previously been unable to print a document because their home printer has no ink or not enough left to complete the job!
Ha ha this sounds very familiar with me – how about you?
In over 1/3 of cases a low ink or no ink printer scenario has led to a tricky situation, affecting all members of the household. Some parents confessed that the worst situations they faced with no ink in their printers are their children being unable to print homework, or important documentation for a school trip. For those parents who work, situations ranged from having to go into the office early – or even make a special trip in – to print documents for a client meeting, to being unable to print an application form or a CV.
In response to such printing dilemmas, Epson introduces the new ET-2500 EcoTank printer . This is the UK’s first branded printer to be sold with refillable tanks that allow a continuous supply of ink to the printer, lasting for two years! Imagine not having to think about ink for 2 years – I like the sound of that! As well as doing away with ink cartridges, this Eco Tank printer has 4 colour 70ml Epson genuine ink bottles in the box, which make it easy, clean and quick to fill the ink tanks.
Not only can ink cartridges running empty create a printing nightmare, but they are costly to replace too. In a bid to save money, some parents admitted to taking strict measures to cut back on printing by stopping the ‘printer offenders’ of the family. More than 52% confessed to having stopped their child/children from using the household printer, with 81% citing the reason as cost of ink.
The good news about the Eco Tank , is that on average, this printer can save you up to 70% on printing costs. The ink bottles that are included with the printer can print up to 4000 pages (black) and up to 6500 pages in colour at just a fraction of a penny per page.
GIVEAWAY
I am very excited to inform you that I have an Epson ET-2500 Eco TankMultifunction Printer to give away. Just think if you win this you will not have to replace your ink for up to two years – just imagine all of the stress you will save yourself! Plus once you have the printer you will be able to do fun things like download these fab printing calendars to keep your children occupied.
All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning one, is fill in the form below. The give away ends at midnight on Saturday 17th January, 2016. Good luck 🙂
I am being sent anET-2500 Eco Tank Printer for review.

It’s me! I print everything, use all the paper & all the ink & I can never find the page I printed so I have to print again. I forget to change it to grey and print unnecessarily in colour – and when the printer refuses to print I get frustrated and accuse the rest of the household of touching my printer. I’m a nightmare 🙂
