Burton started back at school last Thursday (that week has flown past!) , but the new reception class had their first day yesterday. I did feel for some of the Mum’s as I saw them leaving the school building this morning, as it brought back all those emotions I felt last year when I had to send my big boy off to school.
Still, one week into his new school year and so far Burton is enjoying it although it is such hard work getting anything out of him about how his day has been, and asking him what he has learnt that day! Still, at least I do not have to worry about him losing his lovely school lunch bag, as it is one I had sent to me from Stuck On You so it has his name across the front and seeing as though he is thr only Burton it is easy for him not to lose it or it be taken home by another child. You can see my review here. It is wonderful to be able to have items customised with his name because being a very uncommon one, it is not possible to buy pre printed items. Therefore, when I was asked if I would like to receive another item from Stuck On You, I opted for the stationary set because I know how much this will be of use to Burton as he progresses at school.
The tools for school set contains everything a boy (or girl!) could possibly need for all their afts, crafts and witing and maths work. The contents arrive in a lovely big pencil case which has 2 pockets and has your childs name and design choice on the front
and inside is a lovely plush lining
Then all of the items, except the lead pencils and eraser, are printed with your child’s name.
The pencil case and all of the tools are of really good quality, so durable and well made so you really are getting excellent value for money. This set costs £22.99 which I think is great value personally, and would make a wonderful gift for a birthday or Christmas. Plus you can choose different colours (choose from pink, red or blue) and designs for your pencil case, (such as robots, bikes, princesses) to make it more personal to your childs preferences.
Burton will love this set so much and I know he will get a lot of use out of it. And because it has his name on everything I can let him take it to school knowing that no other child will want the items with his name printed all over them! I have to be honest I have not let him actually use it yet, simply because I am going to save it for when he works on his new class project (deadline is still month away), which is to design and make an umbrella for Elbert the class pet dinosaur! However, despite the fact that the products have not yet been road tested as such, knowing what good quality his lunch bag is, and seeing all of the tools myself, I am 100% confident that this set will last the test of Burton’s time using them!

I was sent the Tools for School set for the purpose of a review, all thoughts about it are honest and my own.
