I have been sent a few items to review recently, so I thought I would bring them all together in a little round up feature.
Being a semi food blogger, I know how important it is to show off my cakes and bakes with good photography, great styling and some appropriate props. When I think back to my food photos of even 18 months ago I could cringe as they were not very good, and I would say that in the last year they have improved a lot. However, I am by no means a brillaint food photographer, but what I am enjoying is finding ways to continually improve my photos and style my cakes.
I was sent some gorgeous vintage items from Jennifers Cutlery, which have been well used since I received them, and have made a welcome and useful addition to my photos. Specialising in pretty silver plated cutlery and gifts, Jennifer offers a mix of products from single items of cutlery to large full canteens. The spoon, cake fork and knife I was sent remind me of cutlery my grandparents have, which I remember laying out whenever we visited for tea when I was a girl.
With the summer holidays now in full swing, I can imagine teachers up and down the country now preparing to make their way through all the gifts they received from their now former pupils. Plants and flowers, wine, cookies and chocolates, I can imagine that they will have enough to last them until school starts again in September.
According to Cadbury, a mihty 73% of us have less than 1 hour to choose a gift for a teacher, so if time is precious and your inspiration is too, why not buy Cadbury’s Thank You Chocolates as your ultimate greeting card and gift wrapped in one!
These little hazelnut prailine filled chocolates, are perfect for giving to those who deserve a thank you and I am sure there are many teachers who would have been pleased to have been given them! Although these chocolates are not just for teachers of course 😉
I do not know about you, but it seems like every other day I have a load of washing to do, and with two boys who are messy through and through, my washing pile is endless! At least I can now enjoy a lovely fragrance as I hang the wet clothes out to dry thanks to the new range of fabric softeners from Comfort. Called Comfort Creatons.
The new collection has 3 new scented products launched, and each one is luxurious and has been blended by perfume experts, perfect for adding that extra touch of luxury and long-lasting fragrance to your laundry. I was sent 2 of them to review, and having given both a try now a few times, I have to admit that they do make my laundry smell very nice and the fragrances are indeed long lasting.
Being someone who does not normally use a fabric conditioner, I must say that my laundry does feel softer when dry and I do really like their scent, so I may have been coverted now!
I was sent items as shown above for the purpose of a review. All comments made about them are my own and honest.
