Once again Helen Hollywood and myself Jenny Berry (*chortle), have been blown away by all the amazing great bloggers who are baking out there and joining in with our linky! Thank you – I am chuffed to bits by your support and enthusiasm for your baking and how adventerous you – and I – are getting. Seriously, some fantastic entries and the creativity shown, photo styling and flavours have been brilliant! It is making judging that much harder for us both!
However, after much debate Helen and I (apologies to the Hollywood for disturbing her while she was on holiday!) have selected a winner. We decided to go with a breadstick/grissini entry as we felt that these seemed more of a challenge to make and perfect for the linky. In the end it was between two bloggers and it was a close call but we have decided to go with
………… *cue dramatic pause in a Mel and Sue kind of way* ……………
Congratulations to Bluebird Sunshine with her basic breadsticks and crispbreads. The simplicity of the bake and the effort of making not just breadsticks but crispbreads aswell , with the pretty garnish just edged the vote in her direction! As the lady herself said
I was so excited to hear the SNAP when I self-judged that I could sit like a loon tonight with a glass of wine and a slab of cheese and devour the lot with a snap, slather, slap.
Don’t forget to contact me for your Star Baker badge and well done 🙂
You can view all your creations so far in our GBBO Pinterest board
