This week was a mix bag weather wise, some really wet and awful days with a couple of gloriously hot and sunny ones too. It was also a sad week as I lost my iPhone *sobs* and as of now it still hasn’t been found at the adventure park where I mislaid it!! I am such an idiot and am still gutted about it!!
Anyway, while I feel sorry for myself and kick myself for being so stupid for losing it, here is my week that was.
Before he left to go away for his three days in Reading, Daddy let Burton have a go at cementing as it had been so wet yesterday. Burton LOVED it!!
Having stayed in all morning because it looked like it was going to rain but didn’t, the boys and I headed out to the park. Just as we got there it poured down. Instead of heading home immediately, I decided to let Burton run around as he wasn’t bothered (to begin with anyway) about it being wet and Jenson had fallen asleep in the buggy. He was the only person running around the playground!! He splashed in the puddles despite only wearing his crocs and even laid flat out int he ‘basket swing!! He and I were very wet by the time we got home – but at least he got some fresh air for half an hour even if it was wet!
We went to Granma’s and this afternoon we went out to play on the damp grass, swings and trampoline and fed the ducks!
We visited Puxton Park today to meet the boy and me from TheBoyAndMe it was packed soooo many people and very, very hot and sunny. Luckily no visit to A & E was needed after our visit today (unlike the last time we went!) although I did somehow mislay my phone *still sobbing*. However, I didn’t discover this until we left, and up until then we had enjoyed a wonderful day and all three children had great fun and we still didn’t get to see all of the park so will have to return.

Two of the boys cousins stayed at ours last night and luckily the weather was lovely again, so I packed up a picnic, some bats and balls and a bubble wand and we headed to the park for a few hours. Due not having my phone I wasn’t able to take as many photos as I would usually, and this was the only one I took on my iPad!! Love picnics such fun!

I love that you still went to the park even in the rain, looking at your boys faces it couldn’t have mattered less! Thanks for your comments , I edit my photos on pic monkey , make collages for some of them and then add text . I waffle a lot so thought this way it reduced that lol 🙂 xx

I can’t believe you lost your phone Jenny, how horrible. I would have been really sad too mainly for the photos. I am sorry to hear this. On a plus note it sounds like you had a nice week towards the end. I never thought I would find someone who takes more photos than me, but I definitely think you do! x
