And so the second week of the summer holidays has been and gone, and I am thinking that so far the break from school has passed buy far too quickly for my liking!

So we have returned from our holiday. Did you miss us? We have spent a wonderful week waaaaay up in the country camping in our camper van, and visited the Lake District via the Peak District on the way up.

I cannot believe that this is the last week of this school year, and the summer holidays are about to begin and we are almost off on our summer holiday!

With the end of term fast approaching now, this week has been busy preparing for Burton’s 8th birthday which took place on Saturday. With lovely weather all week, it was such a shame that his birthday was filled with so much rain! Still, it did not dampen his day.

I am a bit late getting this up. This is due to me going out Saturday night and having a hangover Sunday morning, and then having an early night to make up for it all that evening!
