New Mirror

More often than not, a bathroom mirror tends to be quite small. Just big enough to see your face within its reflection, ideal for shaving or fixing your hair in. More often than not it is attached to a cabinet and dimly lit or badly positioned,  and therefore it is not adding as much to your bathroom as it could. Mirrors are a great asset to any room, because they can increase the perception of space and make a room look slightly larger than it actually is. Ideal if your bathroom is on the small side. Plus they can also give the illusion of light. For example,  if you position your mirror on the opposite wall to a window sunlight can shine onto the mirror and be reflected throughout the room, making your bathroom appear bright and airy.

Redecorating or Regrouting

Sometimes just a new lick of paint or replacing some tiles can really make a difference in your bathroom. Mind you, there is nothing worse than old grout which can make a bathroom look shabby. 1. Green upgrades are a great idea! You should definitely get LED lights in the bathroom as they are great for energy saving. And although spending money on a low-flow toilet flush or energy-saving shower head sounds counter-intuitive, it can save you a lot of money in the long run!

    • i was about to say something similar to Sophie but she beat me to it.

That said, a combination of something she said, I just installed an LED mirror from the site below, best thing I’ve ever bought for energy saving. I don’t need to turn on all 10 downlight LED’s every time I walk in the toilet at night, the mirror is enough and it doesn’t blind you!

Not to mention its a great mirror!

      Keep it up Jenny.
