16 Eggcellent Facts About Easter.

With the shops full of Easter eggs, goodies and treats at the moment it is hard not giving into temptation and buying some to enjoy now let alone in a few weeks when it is actually Easter! I have already made several batches of chocolate crispy egg nests, and eaten quite a few too (oooops!).

The boys love Easter because they get to go on a hunt for chocolate eggs. It is something we have done each year since they were both small, these photos were taken from their first official Easter egg hunt.

Awwww so cute. I love how easy having an Easter egg hunt is. It is the perfect activity for people of all ages and is quite cheap to organise and very easy to run. The type of event that could be held at birthday parties, at the local park with friends or at schools and nurseries.

You could also amaze friend and family with some fun and egg-citing Easter facts as mentioned in this infographic below, which lists 16 eggcellent facts. Including the fact that the biggest Easter egg hunt ever held in the world,  had 501,00 eggs to be found! Amazing!
