Project 366, 2016. Week 33

So the third week of the holidays is over and with only two weeks left to go until the new school year, I am starting to feel that time is going by too quickly, and I still need to get the boys new school shoes and clothes!

This week saw lots of playdates with friends, some sunshine, some rain and a new member to our family – a puppy! Yes while I was on my hen day last Saturday, and while Daddy was in charge of the boys, they decided to get a puppy! I was not sure I wanted one, after all they are hard work and a big responsibility, but of course when you are shown cute photos of it, it is hard to say no!

Here is look back at our week:

Sunday
Didn’t do much today but did manage a trip to the park

Monday
A glorious day and very hot, so we went to the outdoor pool at Bideford Park

Tuesday
Another lovely day so another trip to the park

Wednesday
We went to the cinema this morning to see The Secret Life of Pets and then this afternoon we attempted a bike ride

Thursday
Burton attended summer camp at the local leisure centre, so Jenson and I enjoyed the day together. Here we are about to try our first ever Freak Shake.

Friday
A wet morning, so we stayed in and the boys coloured in some tee shirts we were sent to review

Saturday
A 6am start to our journey to collect our new puppy from Wales. This is Copper and he is too ruddy cute!

  1. The school holidays are whizzing over….I don’t want them to end!
It looks like a fun week and aww! That puppy! You are right. After seeing the photos you couldn’t say no! x

  2. The puppy does look so cute Jenny, but rather you than me on the work front. Looks like you’ve had an outdoor fun sort of week – it’s been nice to have some decent weather.

  3. How exciting to have a puppy! Love the photo of splashing in the pool and cycling along by the sea – it reminds me of the Camel Trail in Padstow. How did you both get on with the milkshake? It looks deadly!

  4. aaahhhh look at that little face, he is adorable…but as you say hard work….but worth it.
Great to see you getting out in the nice weather, what an amazing capture on the swimming pool picture.
Love Burton’s face on the roundabout.
Good grief at the Freak Shake, looks too sickly for my liking, but hope he enjoyed it.

  5. Hooray for hot sunny holidays! Ha, love that you have a puppy – my two would love one but I can’t commit plus the husband is allergic to pretty much anything with four legs! Liking the new blog look 🙂
