I think everyone has a favourite romantic movie don’t they?
I love a good film filled with romance as I am a romantic at heart really. A plot featuring the hero trying to win over the heroine and eventually by the end, it all ends happily and she realises that he is the man for her and they are together at last. Or maybe the couple have to overcome difficulties through seperation, family feuds etc.. to be united and live happily ever after. I especially love a film which makes me cry, many a tear I have shed over films such as Pride and Prejudice (I lo-lo-lo-lo-LOVE you says Mr Darcy to Miss Elizabeth Bennett played by Keira Knightly,as the sun rises behind them in that field and oh how I cry at those words!!), The Notebook and Titanic are to name a few of the slushy movies that get me all teary eyed.
My favourite romantic movies have to be Gone With The Wind and Dirty Dancing – I adore both films and will hapilly watch them time after time ,without ever tiring of them.
With it being Valentine’s Day tomorrow, which film gets you in the mood for romance?
