Project 365 #18 (27th April – 3rd May, 2014)

Well what a week of good luck I have had! I found out this week that I had been selected to be a Morrisons Mum, that my Chocolate Easter Egg Pinata Cake won a baking competition and most exciting of all, that Mummy Mishaps has been shortlisted in the Social Category of the BIBS 2014!! (and if you fancy voting for me then I will love you lots and you can do so HERE).

Here is our week in photos

Bear Bread
Today we went on a bear hunt to co-incide with the 25th anniversary of ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’ book and then we had a tea party and we made lots of yummy bear themed food including bear bread.

Big Playground
Burton and the rest of his reception class had to line up in the main playground today along with the rest of the school to go into school, as previously they were escorted into class each day by us parents. For some reason Burton had been worrying about it all weekend and didn’t want to go to school! Of course it was fine and when I collected him, he told me that now he had done it he would be ok tomorrow!

Burton’s Bedtime Story Time
Burton often likes to read the book at bedtime now and it is lovely to see and hear. Eat Peach Pear Plum was tonights choice again, and it makes me laugh because he asks Jenson and I where the charcters are hiding on each page!

Dandelion Clocks
On our walk to pre school this morning Jenson enjoyed stopping and picking up the dabdelion clocks and blowing/waving them around to see the fluffy bits blow away. He did not want to stay at pre school without me today and screamed for me not to leave him! (I rang once I got home and he was fine, of course!)

  2. I love the tree photo! It’s not nice leaving them when they are nervous or upset but what a relief when you know they are fine and happy. x

  5. The bedtime story photo makes my heart melt. They looks so cute sitting there reading. It’s exactly the same in our house Aly reading to Mia

  6. Isn’t it funny that they sometimes worry about school? As long as we as parents don’t worry too they’re sure to be ok.
Jenson digging for eariwigs made me smile.. our Ashley wouldn’t even contemplate it.. hates getting his hands dirty.

  7. I can’t believe that school have left it to so late in the year to introduce this, The Boy’s class have been lining up since the second week in September!
