Polarn O. Pyret Summer into Autumn 2013 (Review & Discount)

Once upon a time…..waaaay back in July (ooops!) I received some  beautiful boys clothes from Polarn O. Pyret. I adore the clothes that this company make and have reviewed some before, a coat and some items last winter. Therefore I know already that the quality is fantastic and very durable and even after wash after wash they never shrink, fade or go out of shape.

We were sent a child polo shirt for Burton which is a lovely shade of orange and it really suited his colouring. What I like about this top is the fact that it has a zip instead of buttons which is much easier for him to undo and do up as he struggles with buttons (as do I *ahem*) on other tops. The top comes in sizes to fit 2-6 year olds and also comes in a bright blue colour too. The seams are made soft so as not to chaff and it has flexible side seams to allow for a comfortable fit, and it is made from 100% cotton.  Burton loves it and I think he looks very smart when he wears it, and in the winter I can team it up with a plain long sleeve tee to make it wearable in the colder months.

For Jenson we were sent a Little Cosy Friends All In One Pyjamas . I LOVE  the fact that this is an all in one bedtime outfit because it reminds me of the little sleepsuits that both boys use to wear when they were babies. Also, unlike regular two piece pyjamas, a onesie like this does not ride up allowing for exposed skin which in the colder months is not nice for little ones especially with all the wriggling they do in bed, when bedding falls off them. Then they are left with cold backs and/or tummies which in my case usually results in little visitors to my bed in the middle of the night! However, this sleepsuit is perfect for keeping all of Jenson’s body covered up. Plus the arms and legs have cuffs which can be folded up or down as the child grows.  The zip also has a protective zip cover which avoids chaffing of the neck. And – good news here if your children end up with messy clothes at breakfast time – the sleepsuit can be washed up to 60oC to get rid of those stubborn stains.

This sleepsuit is available from 0 months up to age 4.  It is worth pointing out that the suits for babies aged from 0 months to 6 months do have built in feet, to keep little toes snug and warm. This onesie is also available in pink.
