As I mentioned before, last Thursday the boys and I were invited to a bloggers coffee morning at Peppa Pig World to preview some of the new merchandise available at the on-site gift store and on the official on-line Peppa Pig toy shop. The toys, games, accessories and clothing items were left out for all us bloggers and our children to have a good look at, try on and try out. When we arrived there was already a little dinosaur dressing gown wearer (Emma’s daughter) which made me laugh because I think if she had been allowed, she would have taken it with her once the coffee morning was over!
I especially liked the Peppa Pig jumbo puzzle and colour set a double sided puzzle where one side has a scene from Peppa Pig and on the reverse an outline of the image which children can colour in.
At £12.99 I think this is a great gift idea and one I will adding to my Christmas shopping list (along with some George dinosaur pjs and that dressing gown).
The Peppa Pig brand stands for 3 main things
quality
value for money
family
Being a huuuuuge children’s favourite iconic TV charcater, it is imperative that the merchandise which is sold with the Peppa Pig brand is affordable and will wash and wear well and is family friendly and will appeal to the whole family. This is why recently Daddy Pig socks were launched which have proved to be very popular because being a much loved charcter anyway, it also means that Peppa Pig fans can buy their own Daddies an item which is Daddy friendly and involves them in the Peppa Pig fun (which is exactly what we did as we bought our own daddy pig a pair as a gift during our visit last week). There are also Mummy Pig ones (yay we have his and hers socks now!).
The Peppa Pig brand is just enormous and having now visited the theme park too, I cannot see this little poink piggy and her friends and family ever not being popular – its appeal is massive and it just works so well with boys and girls and thier mummies and daddies!
