After a week of visiting the beach and doing a few things outdoors in our garden as the weather was a bit unpredictable,
Friday afternoon with the use of a car for the first time all week I took Burton to a playground on the other side of town for a change of scene, while Jenson napped at home (Daddy was working there).
This playground is more suited to Burton and slightly older children because it has a lot of climbing and balancing apparatus which would be unsuitable for Jenson at the moment.
We had the whole area to ourselves which was great and what I really like about this playground, is all the brightly coloured frames, steps, poles etc…. it makes the trip more enjoyable as Burton can name colours as he makes his way around all the activities. It is a perfect spot for a toddler with a lot of energy to burn off and who likes to jump, run, climb, spin, bounce and swing his way around! A bit like a concrete outdoors tumble tots!
He has never attempted to swing off a perch like this before but in typical Burton style, and me being a little anxious, he went for it and managed to do it and do it again, and again and again……
What a monkey!!

Fantastic action pictures as always Jenny, I think Burton will be pushing to return to this park, I love the brightly coloured equipment, it reminds me of all the colours on my web site! Well done on continuing with your 20 minutes, I think you have inspired others with this idea too.
That looks like such a fab playground! Love the expression on his face jumping off the post with the rope x
Great playground Jenny. Burton looks quite the adventurer in these pictures.
Loving the look of that playground it looks amazing.
The facial expressions are superb
the playground looks really cool. i have the same problem with my girls, playgrounds tend to be far to hard for the little one..not that it stops her trying and gving me heart failure
