Stairs (20/365)
We didn’t venture out anywhere today apart from Tesco to get some food as we spent the day unpacking and moving boxes! The boys enjoyed having more room to run around and helping me to put things away in their new bedroom. Here they are at the top of our stairs.
Hungry Caterpillar Wall (21/365)
While Burton was at Ladybirds today, I set about sorting out their new play room. One day when the boys are older this will be our formal dining room but for now it is the ideal hang out for all their toys, books and general ‘stuff’. I also decorated one of the walls with some Hungry Caterpillar wall art stickers which I bought a year ago which Burton was very excited to see upon his return from pre school.
In Our Garden (22/365)
Yes we have our own garden!!! So we went out to explore it this morning and played some football too. I just know that this garden will be used for so many fun things over the years and I love the big tree in it too. With two energetic boys a garden is essential!
Jumping For Snowy Joy (23/365)
We awoke to some snow this morning – not a lot and certainly not enough to build a snowman but still enough to warrant a trip into the garden to make foot and hand prints and get some fresh air. Here is Burton jumping in the snow.
Ice Cream Van (24/365)
We spent the morning playing outside again in the melting icy slushy snow but this afternoon being so sunny, if a little cold, I decided we would embark on a little walking adventure! We had a lovely stroll and ended up at Tesco where the boys had a ride in this ice cream van.
Through The Sunroof (25/366)
Burton went to Ladybirds today so Jenson and I had the house to ourselves, until mid morning when my friend and her toddler turned up for a couple of hours. Jenson enjoyed sitting inside his fire engine play tent. My Mum and step dad came to see our new house this afternoon and collected Burton on their way over so he could show them around. Then after tea Daddy came home after being away all week.
New Fish (26/365)
For being a good boy most of the week and earning lots of stickers, as his reward Burton was allowed to get a new goldfish to replace Nemo who died last November. The rest of the day was spent playing, making pizzas for lunch, helping Daddy do some DIY and visiting Granma and Grampy. Despite my offer of taking the boys to the park they said no so we didn’t get out today as I would have liked, but both boys (and Daddy) were tired all day so we will tomorrow instead.

Great selection of photographs! Your garden looks fab. Is that a chicken coop I see there *envious face*. The playroom sounds lovely and can get a real sense of space having seen last weeks photo of the house! Think you had a bit more snow than us. It didn’t even last 24 hours!
Red Rose Mummy
Great photos as usual Jenny. Looking forward to seeing more photos of the new house and garden over the coming months. I would love a playroom, I’d love to be able to store the toys in a room that I can close the door on when the children are in bed! You are still doing so well at getting out every day. I’m going to try to do the same as soon as potty training settles and the ice melts.
