I mentioned in a look back at my year that was post earlier this week about the photos I selected each week during my project 366 last year. Well, after I posted that, TheBoyandMe asked participants in her 366 linky to try and choose a photo a month – yes 12 photos from the 366 that were taken (or 12 out of 52 if that was the photo project of choice).
I have to admit that I have spent the last two nights trying to do this, and finding it very hard because I have so many photos I love and for so many different reasons. Many of the photos I captured over the 366 days are not that good really, they are merely snapshots in to my daily life. However, its the personalities of my boys which shine through and make them special to me. Plus the memories they evoke and how they will remind me of what we got up to during 2012.
In the end after much deliberating, I have decided to do my own take on the prompt, because with two boys as my subject matter is is hard to choose between them all. Therefore, instead I have just picked 12 photos which I am proud of. I am not a great photographer by any means, but sometimes I think I managed to capture a good photo whether it was luck or not I am pleased with how they turned out.
And here they are – 12 photos which I think are worthy of being showcased especially considering they (and all my 366 photos) were taken on a smart phone, iPad or sports camera!!

I remember all those photos! Lovely choices from a year of outdoor fun for your gorgeous boys. I struggled to track my photos down but have a better system in place so I am prepared next year!

You’ve taken some really gorgeous photos this year – I can’t believe they are mostly on your phone, they’re lovely!! Shows how much they’ve grown too!

They are amazing photos Jenny and what a lovely way to look back on your year. I think my favourite is the bottom one. x

Lovely photos, especially the one of the boys on the Gruffalo hunt!

These are such beautiful photos Jenny and like I said earlier you should be really proud that they’re outdoorsy shots! Love the one of Burton cycling through the puddles, such confidence. And Jenson crawling, seems like only yesterday!
Thanks for linking

That’s a great selection. Love the one with the bike ridden through the leaves and puddle. My favourite isn’t one of these… it’s the one in the blog header – the kiddiewinks stood on the wooden mushrooms.
