This year I joined in with the Project 366 having seen TheBoyandMe take part every day during 2011. I enjoyed seeing her gorgeous boy change as the year progressed and therefore, I made up my mind that I would do the same starting 1st January of this year.
I also joined in with ‘My Week That Was’ hosted by Katie which got me to record and blog about our weekly lives – an online diary in a way – which will be lovely to look back on and remember what we got up to during 2012.
Having spent tonight looking back through all 366 days worth of photos I am so pleased that I took a photo (and more) a day, because being able to look back on how much my boys have changed over the last 12 months is so wonderful to see.
Here are the photos I chose from the Project 366 as my ‘photos of the week’ over the last 12 months, when I linked up each week.

I took so many photos: each one a record of something we did or they got up to and a lasting memory to treasure. I never struggled to capture a photo of one or both of them and I am proud of some of the outdoor ones I took later this year. Spurred on by Country Kids, I tried my hardest each week to get out and about and record what we got up too. I am grateful to Fiona for inspiring me to enjoy the great outdoors more, and to have a purpose to get out and enjoy some fresh air and capture some lovely shots of my boys enjoying themselves outside. Whatever the weather!
My favourite Country Kids posts being (please click on the photos to take you to the post):
All in all a great way of looking back and remembering my 2012 year that was.
Thank you to all of you who have stopped by and visited my blog and taken the time to comment – it has meant a lot. xx

I always love reading your posts and watching Burton and Jenson grow up. The one where they are holding hands in the car has to be one of my favourite pics I think!! And it’s so lovely how Burton is like Jensons mentor. I hope 2013 is filled with just as many happy adventures. Thank you for some fan reads this year!!! Oh…I think you have to do a post of your fave cake from each month too!!!!’ Your cakes are fantastic!!

After thinking you were mad last year I’m now doing a 365 (well its easier – shorter year!) Aaron has said there’s no way I’ll make it past 2 weeks though!
Have loved reading your blog this year and seeing your boys growing up – almost like getting a sneaky peak into what monkeys my little blonde boys will be! Happy New year to you all xxxx

How much have your boys changed and grown up? They are so big and gorgeous. Seeing your whole year like this makes you realise how much you’ve managed to fit into a year. I know I’m going to really enjoying looking back over our 2012 in years to come. X

What a wonderful post Jenny and I have really enjoyed looking at your photos and seeing what you got up to in 2012. I won’t be doing my Week That Was in 2013, as I am worried with a new baby I will have trouble uploading it each week, but I hope that you continue to do something similar as I love to look at your pictures and your creative things you do with your boys. I hope 2013 is good to you. x

This is lovely, it’s incredible looking at how much your boys have changed and I love that you can see all the seasons in the photos. Just shows how much fun you have had with you boys over the year! I did a similar post on Lucas and can’t velieve how much has changed, when I was looking at the Janurary photos it seemed so long ago when he was so little. Best Wishes for 2013 xx
TheBoyandMe
I love the shot of Jenson in January, the hand holding in February, sun lounging in June, Jenga in July and the wooden timber trail in September. The Westward Ho photograph is amazing.
