Monday
Burton went to Ladybirds while I took Jenson to a new playgroup
Tuesday
I baked a pie and a yummy pud in the morning. My mum and step dad came up in the afternoon and we took the boys to the park to feed the ducks (and got wet!)
Wednesday
We went to Granma’s where it rained almost all day!
Thursday
Burton went to Ladybirds and I did housework with some ‘help’ from Jenson. In the evening he had another swimming lesson and received his first certificate for hard work 🙂
Friday
The boys went to Granma’s while I went to London for the Butlins Ambassadors meet up which was such fun and nice to meet some bloggers – some I have met before and some I haven’t. Afterwards, I met up with my brother before getting the train home again
It was such a beautifully sunny and warm day, that I packed a picnic and we took the boys to Whistland Pound which is a reservoir surrounded by woods, bridges, babbling brooks and is just beautiful. We took our bikes and cycled round the entire reservoir…….eventually! Someone whose name begins with a ‘B’ fell into a puddle and got very wet!!
Sunday
We took the boys swimming this morning and then went and did the food shopping. After lunch we took the boys and Burton’s bike to Instow beach for an hour as it was still dry and as the weather gives rain for most of next week, I wanted us to make the most of another dry afternoon. We also squeezed in an ice cream!
Here is my week that was in photos:
