A’Kin Hand Nail & Cuticle Cream

One thing I dread about the weather turning colder is my skin becoming drier and one part of my body which suffers the most with this are my hands.

As I am sure is familiar with many people, I find that my hands are in and out of water all day and this does not help with me trying to keep them in a soft and smooth condition.

I was recently asked to trial some Hand Nail & Cuticle Cream from the A’Kin natural skincare and body care range produced by The Purist Company.

Enriched with Vitamins E and B5 and combined with jojoba oil and shea butter, this rich hand cream is ideal for dry hands which need some TLC and to be rehydrated and feel soft and supple and, in my case, look younger!

Let me show you. here are my hands at the end of a typical SAHM kind of day which involves washing my hands very regularly, washing up, wiping down kitchen counters, being outside in the fresh air, cleaning and so on – you get the picture.

You don’t?
Ok let me show you, here are my hands normally after such a day

Its true, as my Mum has been telling me for years, I have the hands of an old woman!! My boyfriend is always telling me that my hands are too rough and rugose. This is despite always keeping my nails trimmed and applying creams. The appurtenances I used included the best nail clippers you can buy online

So I have been using the A’Kin Hand Nail & Cuticle Cream whenever I can which to be honest is usually first thing and after the children have gone to bed so my hands can rest from their duties, and the cream absorbs very easily and quickly. My poor dry skin literally soaks up the moisturising cream and looks and feels better for it almost immediately. They also smell lovely of lavender and geranium which isn’t overpowering just pleasant.

Here are my hands after using the cream

I think you can see a noticeable difference! Even my boyfriend said they felt smoother – so it must work!

The A’kin Hand Nail & Cuticle Cream retails at £12 for 75ml and is available to buy from Holland & Barratt. For more information about the full A’Kin range please visit The Purist Company website http://www.purist.com.

I was sent a sample of the hand nail & cuticle cream for the purpose of this review. All opinions and hand photos are honest and my own
