I chat regularly with Emma, Lauren and ‘Me’ and we all have children who recently turned three. Emma set a challenge to ask her son 20 questions which she wrote about here. She then tagged the rest to us to do the same with our boys. Lauren and ‘Me’ both vlogged their interviews and I thought I would do the same as I enjoyed watching their videos and knew that Burton’s would prove to be just as amusing and entertaining!!
Now before you watch the infamous video, I would like to point out a few things:
*I am amazed by Burton’s answers (which will become evident by my comments), because they were not what I was expecting at all. I thought I knew what he would say, but he proved me wrong.
*The interview proves that he gave answers based on things which we had done recently, like his favourite toy and book, and maybe some of the things I said influenced his final answers!!!
*I forgot to ask him what his favourite TV show and film are – doh!*He doesn’t usually sing like that!
*Every day when he gets dressed he asks to wear his dinosaur trousers and tee shirt and every meal time he asks for marmite and cheese!!!
*I had baby brain trying to think of examples of the jobs people we know have!
*And finally, towards the end of the clip something really funny happens if you listen carefully while he goes of to fetch a prop!! This *incident* had Burton and I in stitches listening to it all again!!
I hope you enjoy.
So without any further ado, let me hand over to Burton
Funny boy 🙂

That was brilliant!! I love his passion for pasta bolognaise!
Lauren
Oh my goodness he is even more adorable than I thought. I love him.
As I told you on Twitter I had to pause this so many times because I was laughing so much.
I love the way he sits there and almost lays back.
His alphabet is so impressive! Clever boy!
I think my favourite is the marmite sandwich bit. You really make me laugh. Closely followed by him disappearing behind the tent. I love that he’s out of view.
Well done on raising such a fab boy xx
P.S you have a lovely voice x

I love all his different facial expressions too. He looks like he’s taking it all very seriously.

Oh dear God we’ve both (me and Mr. TBam) roared with laughter at this. Do you feed him anything other than pasta bolognese missus? He’s got an incredibly expressive face, hasn’t he? We chuckled a lot at the alphabet song.
Brilliant, well done Burton.

Brilliant! Just watched it with Leo and I think I should have filmed that! First of all he asked who it was and then he tried to talk to him like he was on Skype.
Then he asked it if was him, and when I said no, he replied “I think it is me Mummy, oh what’s that tent? Where’s my tent gone’ and he started looking for it. (We haven’t got one!)
He kept agreeing with the answers and he asked me if it was his friend and I said ‘No’ (meaning he didn’t actually know him) and he cried saying why won’t he be my friend so I said he was his friend and then he smiled and said I like ‘Burt’, he’s my new friend! When you said ‘Burton’ later on in the video Leo said Oh’ I thought he was Burt.
I love the way you were disagreeing with his answers, and then couldn’t think of anyone with a job! Brilliant video!

That is so adorable! Burton is such a cutie. I have to do this with Ella and Kaycee. It’ll be lovely to look back on when they’re older 🙂

Aww bless, I love it. So funny x

LOVE this!! He is so super cute! “Pasta bolognaise!” hahaha. I don’t think Thomas would sit still and let me do this but I might try later… 🙂 Thanks for making me laugh this morning! xx
Actually Mummy...
Well actually I think he did very well to resist all your attempts to put words in his mouth! The boy clearly likes apple in his lunchbox not cheese and marmite! And did he say his favourite fruit is BBQ? I’d like to see him get that one past the healthy eating militia! 😉

Ahhh lovely!! I’ve just had to record all of mine after they saw this :)) x

So totally adorable, children never say or do quite what you expect!
