Ever since Burton’s first Christmas, we have made our own Christmas Cards for family and a few select friends and dressed him up in a cute outfit and Jon has photographed him. Then using his mac he has transformed the already gorgeous photo into a festive Christmas card.
Here is the first one we made, Burton was 5 months old
to this the finished card
Last year it was a lot more difficult to take photos of Burton – he wouldn’t sit still or he wouldn’t smile at the right time!! Daddy is a bit of a perfectionist and a good amateur photographer and he was getting very frustrated that he couldn’t take the perfect shot! It didn’t help that Burton was not very well and had some red cheek rash type thing for the top weeks we tried to photograph him in his elf gear!
The first one we made was this one
But although it is lovely you can’t see Burton face on. So in the end Daddy had to do some photo shop amendments and use a smiley face from one shot and add to another body!! and the end result and finished card we used was this one:
This years card will be probably our most challenging so far, with a baby and a toddler to try and photograph together!!!
Watch this space!!
Anyway, it got me thinking about the fact that I am sure many of you dress your little ones up in festive fancy dress outfits – I mean its rude not to really! So I am going to open a linky below where you can add your photos of your Christmas CrackersÂ
