I know it’s only just going into winter, but it’s never too soon to plan for next year’s holidays! Family holidays are some of the best and fondest memories you can have. the excitement, the travelling, the afternoons on the beach or swimming in the sea and eating more than you thought was humanly possible!
But the hardest part is finding the perfect place to make these memories, you want to find a place that offers everything you desire and not end up somewhere where you may spend half of your time in a dodgy hospital that could make things even worse through medical negligence. It all depends on what you’re looking for, but fortunately, we’re going to be showing you some of the best options to consider as a family looking to go on holiday.
Tenerife, Spain
With nearly all of the hotels here offering kids’ clubs to entertain children while their parents spend time in the sun relaxing, it seems like Tenerife could be the perfect holiday destination. Not only that, but there are plenty of family outing activities enjoy such as Siam Park, which can be a full day of water rides and wave machines. Or if that doesn’t do it for you, you could always visit the Parque Zoo.
Denmark
It isn’t one of the hottest places you would consider, but Denmark is a safe and family friendly location with a huge range of activities for the adventurous ones of us out there. Take the kids to see the Viking Ship Museum which includes a fully interactive village where they can try on chainmail, watch a blacksmith and even take a ride on a Viking Ship. If you’re a lego-lover then you should head on over to Legoland or visit the beautiful city of Copenhagen where it’s home to the oldest amusement park in Europe.
Cyprus
Situated just off the coast of Turkey, you’ll experience the beautifully warm Mediterranean weather with a variety of activities available. One of the most popular activities available in Cyprus is the Municipal Park which is located in Limassol city centre. Equipped with numerous playgrounds, picnic areas, a shady parkway and an open-air theatre, it’s great for everyone. There’s also The Galaxy recreational centre which is packed full of leisure activities for the whole family.
Portugal
A beautiful holiday destination, with a hot climate and a gorgeous Atlantic coastline. Portugal boasts some incredible hotel resorts, a collection of beaches and the Zoomarine theme park which is perfect for families. Not only that but it offers around 300 days’ worth of sunshine each year, so you can almost guarantee whenever you choose to go, it’s going to be fantastic weather.
Orlando, Florida
If you’re up for flying for a bit longer, it’s worth the trip. Orlando is a lot of children’ dreams. You can hop on the Hogwarts Express at Universal Orlando Resort, or meet numerous Disney characters a Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando has a plethora of activities that will keep your family busy all holiday.
