A warm bath will make your heart beat faster, which can be like a light workout. A faster heart beat will also improve your blood circulation, which can prevent you from getting unpleasant conditions such as varicose veins, as the blood will be less viscous and its vessels will function better. Furthermore, a warm bath will lower your blood pressure improving cardiac functions. However, it is important to avoid very high temperatures, especially if you have a pre-existing heart condition. This can put a strain on your heart and can make you feel very unwell.

When you are submerged in water, your nervous system starts to calm down, reducing stress and anxiety. So, when you come home after a stressful day at work, a warm bath could be the best way to end to your day.

A bath can also kill bacteria, which helps improve your immune system, and especially during these cold winter days when we all need a boost! If you have a cold or flu, a warm bath will relieve your symptoms and make you feel much better.
