So we have passed the half way mark through the summer holidays, and I can already foresee how fast this next week will go and then it will be our final week and that will be when I must take the boys to get their new school shoes and uniform!
This week has been fairly busy. We met with friends and family and got out every day. I also completed my massive and very belated spring clean, declutter and rearranging of my rooms! I have thrown out so much rubbish and the house definitely looks less cluttered now – huzzah! Now, I just need to keep it like it !
So back to our week and it looked a little like this:
Sunday – there was a Civil War re-enactmenrt at our local park
Monday – dentist appointment for us all. (The glasses were to avid the bright lights hurting little eyes!)
Tuesday – a spot of baking and Jenson and I made a delicious chocolate and banana cake
Wednesday – my Mum came for a visit and we went on an epic walk this afternoon (following an indoor picnic!), which included a paddle for the boys and Copper.
Thursday – we met a friend and her children at Westward Ho! I always forget about this natural sea pool as we usually visit the beach, so it made a welcome change to use it. (The boys are in the pool with their body boards!).
Friday – Burton came for a walk with Copper and his scooter
Saturday – Jenson attended a scooter party this morning
Bonus photo – here is an updated pic of the puppies who are now 12 days old and very cute!

Sounds like a good week & wouldn’t be complete without cake. Love the reenactment x

It seems like the summer holidays will be over before we know it now.

aaahhhh at the sleeping puppy, way to cute.
A skating party sounds a bit different.
Love the idea of the natural swimming pool, save the kids getting caught in currents.

Love the shot of the boys and Cooper all paddling together. The sea pool looks great – I’d like to try something like that.
