Project 365 2017. Week 20

I cannot believe that it is only one more week until the May half term! How quickly is this year going? I think it is a bit too scary really!

This week has flown past and it saw the return of ……. rain! Yes, back to shoes and coats for a few days and it has been a little cold too, even my teeth were chattering a few times!

Our week looked a bit like this:

Sunday – we woke up in our Camper Van and I cooked a big breakfast while the boys enjoyed drawing in our new awning. If you want to follow our camping exploits we have a blog called Five in a T5  to record our adventures.

Monday – last minute finishing of a projects after breakfast this morning, and it was all about our dog Copper.

Tuesday – hair cuts for the boys after school today. Here is Jenson doing a ‘Jedward’

Wednesday – a walk before school and the boys were chasing a tractor through the lane!

Thursday – another last minute bit of project work which Burton shared with his friend Oli, making a chocolate fudge cake.

Friday – we had to pop over to Oli’s before school to decorate the cake as it did not finish baking until 7.30pm last night!

Saturday – Burton attended science club this afternoon, and it was about the human body and this is Burton’s work from today. he also got to see a pig’s heart, but he would not touch it as it was grosse apparently!

  1. I envy your camping trips, I would like to buy a camper when we eventually return to the UK in a few years. It doesn’t seem like 5 mins since i was in the UK looking after my son over Easter, he’ll be here in Dubai for half term and then only a few weeks before I return to the UK for when he finishes school

The cake looks fab and I’m smiling at the human body picture. The rain has been pretty miserable this week, hasn’t it? The forecast looks much better for the coming week though

  3. The rain has been rubbish hasn’t it.
hehehe! I love the Jedward hair do.

  4. Well done to Burton and Oli, the cake looks great, and I admire the dedication of getting up early to decorate it.
I agree the heart is gross. Great human body.

  5. I love seeing your camping trips, I’d love to do that one day. This year is just flying in. The weather has improved a bit. I love that cake and very cool hair xx
