Project 365, 2016. Week 18

I cannot believe how fast this last week has gone by, can you? May is upon us and we are creeping up towards the half way point for the year, and that is just crazy.

So this week was a short week at school due to the bank holiday, but it was pretty hectic as always. The boys have enrolled in some school clubs which means that Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings we now need to be at school for 8.15am for running club and hand ball for Burton and then running club for Jenson! Trying to get them out of the house by 8.05am is manic!

Here is a look back at our week in photos:

Sunday – woke up in our van to drizzle!  But the boys loved it.It rained all day in fact but we sent the day doing a car treasure hunt in and around South Devon.

Monday (Bank Holiday) We sent Sunday night in a campsite in Widemouth Bay which had fantastic views, but the weather was dire so we went home after breakfast.

Tuesday – fun along the river and the park with friends after school

Wednesday – Jenson enjoying being the first one on the pirate ship at lunch time.

Thursday – walk before school and Copper found a big stick

Friday – sometimes the bed just is not big enough!

Saturday – fun at the park with cousins

  1. I love that you still carry on with this Jenny. I do enjoy reading these and seeing what you and the boys have been up to.
Such a shame the weather was bad on bank holiday xx

  2. I love the picture of Copper hanging out of his bed! We always have to be out of the house by 8.05, but that is only since my son has been at secondary school. It’s still a challenge every day! My son is heading to Devon for a handball tournament this week!

So you go decided to buy the van after all then! Looks like you had fun despite the weather! Xx

  4. Aww what a shame the weather spoiled your first trip in the camper van, but it looks like it got better. Glad you had a good week xx

  5. How sad your weekend was cut short. But sensible move to come home early if the weather is crappy.
Nice to see plenty of other outdoor pictures. Our dog is not interested in sticks. How lovely to be within a short walking distance of the school, but personally think I would prefer after school to before school.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
