Almost didn’t make it in time to link up this week! Plus I am confused as to what day it is seeing as though its a bank holiday today, and I keep thinking its Sunday!
Anyway, back to our week and it turned out to be very exciting by the end – as you will see further down! So here are the photos showing what we got up to
Sunday – a lovely long walk to Landkey through the fields and woods to collect my car from a friends house. There was so much wild garlic – I need to go back and pick some (although I have never cooked with it before)
Monday – the boys made a Num Noms video as they love these scented collectables and watching videos of them being unboxed on Your Tube. They are good at presenting lol.
Tuesday – a walk before school and despite the sunshine it was actually cold and we found ice!
Wednesday – another walk before school where it was sunny but nippy!
Thursday – Burton got a certificate at school for being a fantastic role model! Not sure why or how though, I will ask his teacher tomorrow.
Friday – breakfast in a camper van. Yes we have a camper van a T5 which arrived late last night so the boys were very excited (as was I!) and wanted breakfast inside on the drive!
Saturday – we packed up the van at lunchtime and went on a last minute camping trip. We went to Haldon Forest and met with my Mum and Step Dad and took part on the new Gruffalo trail using an app on our phone which was great fun! Afterwards we went and camped the night in a field near Bovey Tracey.
How exciting to have a camper van! I bet you will have so much fun with that. It certainly has been cold this week. I love the photo with the ice!
Is the camper van actually yours or just borrowed? Better than a tent though I think you pay quite a bit to park it overnight on a site, tents use to be a cheap holiday but not so much anymore either.
It seems weird it is still cold enough to be finding ice in a morning.
