So with the warmer weather we have been experiencing recently, it has got me thinking about buying myself some new clothes for the summer. Before I set off and visit the high street shops, I like to have a look at what fashion trends are about at the moment, conduct a little online research so I know where to go for the best finds and, maybe, bargains!
Having had a look, I can see that there is still a strong homage to the 1980’s, an era that I always thought we would never want to revisit in terms of the fashions! Bold, bright and dynamic prints and colours are all over the high street, mixed with the softer pastels of the peek a boo trends and some florals too for good measure.
It really is an opportunity to mix and match and show your assertive side in your clothes and be a fashion dare devil. Just like back during the 80’s when women started to dress a little like men, wear power suits to show the world that they could be as powerful and strong as the opposite sex, this years summer fashions are a tribute to wave that occurred back then.
These colours will look fabulous in terms of make up too, where again it is all about make a wow factor with bold colours, sparkles and glow and dramatic lips.
