Project 365, 2017. Week 1

And so here I am embarking on my 5th year of taking a photo a day and featuring them on my blog. I have to be honest, I did think about not doing it this year, because I am finding it harder to either remember to take a photo a day, or because of school there are not very many exciting photo opportunities available to me now with the boys.

However, that thought was short lived and here I am on week one of 2017. This week saw the return to school and work after the lovely festive holidays and I for one was sad it ended. still, here is a look back at what we got up to:

New Year’s Day – I spent most the day taking down then Christmas decorations and having a massive tidy up and clear up. We also found time for a little walk.

Monday – we went on a massive walk and notched up 12,500 steps in the process (might go some way in helping to shift those extra pounds gained over Christmas!)

Tuesday – Daddy went back to work and the boys and I went to the park

Wednesday – back to school and back to making packed lunches

Thursday – a sleeping Jenson

Friday – we had lots of rain so wellies were in order for an after school walk

Saturday – almost forgot to take a photo, so Jenson volunteered his face lol!

  1. welcome back. Looking at the wellies in the puddle I do not think the feet would have been very dry anyway.
Love the angle the tree is growing at, there is a whole street of them in Troon due to the way the wind comes in off the sea.
Took me a while to spot the boys in the bridge picture

  2. and a lovely face to volunteer. keep taking and posting your photos, everyone says mine are exciting to look at because they’re taken in Dubai, but to me it is ust day to day life, therefore I love looking at photos of other countries, especially when it involves weather, landscape and old buildings

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
