So I think I stuck to my meal plan quite well last week, again I did swap meals around for two nights and we ended up with fish fingers and chips instead of fish and chips for tea on Friday, as I forgot to take the fish out of the freezer early enough that morning!
As payday happened on Friday, I did a big food shop and I blogged about what I bought as a way of curbing my spending ways and trying to get me to budget and meal plan better and more efficiently. I really struggle to spend under £100 each week, and to be honest this shop was £127, although next week should be less because I have bought stuff that will keep until then. I should mostly be buying top up items like milk, bread, fruit and veg etc… at least that is the plan!
I have lots of baking planned this week : I have a 50th chocolate overload drip birthday cake and a Malteser and white chocolate cheesecake for someone to collect on Friday, and I plan to make some mocha and walnut brownies.
