Project 366, 2016. Week 48

So December is upon us and now I am starting to feel very festive! I have started my Christmas gift shopping at last so I am now expecting lots of parcels over the next few days! Unlike the boys I still have Christmas cards to buy and write, which I always end up doing last minute!

So this week has flown past, and it is hard to believe that a week ago we were in London! It is all go now for the next two weeks while the boys are at school, with Christmas performances , parties, Christmas jumper day, Christmas dinner day etc the time is really going to fly by so `I must get organised before they finish for Christmas!

So here is a look back at our week

A little walk around some famous London sights

Up on the roof…..again! Burton loves to have a nosey!

The school has just had a new playship built in the KS1 playground which is very exciting for the children. Today was Jenson’s class’s turn to play on it.

In the bleak mid winter….. first proper frost today and it was -4 outside this morning!

Another early morning walk before school

Burton attends a school running club on Friday mornings before school – here he is in red, he managed 22 laps which is a big improvement from the 16 he did last week.

It is hard trying to get a nice photo of them all at the moment, without grumpy/silly faces from one of them! This was take at our local Pizza Express where we were invited to review some festive specials.

Lovely London photo – and how quiet?! I’ve never seen it as quiet as that!
Jenson looks so happy with the new play ship. My kids would definitely want to be up on the scaffolding too. Well done to Burton on his running 🙂

  2. Nice to get a chance to visit different places, glad they enjoyed London.
22 laps is a good increase from 16, but that is what it is all about building stamina and staying power.
    Love your frosty scene.
Hope they enjoy the school build up to Christmas.

  3. That really does look like the bleak mid winter doesn’t it. Freezing. Love Pizza Express, we’ll be there on Thursday for Monkey’s tea with friends to celebrate his birthday. Can’t beat sight seeing in London with kids can you #366

  4. Wonderful photos of a family trip to London. I’ve yet to attempt that with the kids. Love the frosty picture, it makes everything look beautiful and magical xx

  5. Haha love the last photo! I remember always being up the scaffolding as a child when our house was being extended – such an adventure! Beautiful frost and well done with the running Burton 🙂
