The return to normality after half term has gone by very quickly. I feel a little less stressed this week than I was the week before the week off school and my new job. Planning is key, and while I may have fallen a little behind with my housework this week, at least I have kept on top of blog work, remembered to put a potato in the oven before I start work so I come home to a baked spud for my (late) lunch and managed to walk the dog every day this week!
Here is a look back at the week in photos:
Sunday – a lovely family, and dog, walk along Crowpoint Beach
Monday – no trick or treating this year but we dressed up and did some apple bobbing and ate a Halloween themed fun tea
Tuesday – Burton started his Harry Potter journey tonight. I checked on him a bit later on and he was asleep with his finger still on the page!
Wednesday – new haircuts and a new more grown up style for Burton – well if we add gel to it of course!
Thursday – a trip after school to see Granma and the boys were messing about under the apple tree (up to no good me thinks!)
Friday – a birthday party after school at the local skating arena
Saturday – we walked up Codden Hill and it was so cold – like it hurt my teeth while smiling for the photo! But the views and the sky made it worth the cold wind!

It has been a lot colder this week, but well done on braving a walk up the hill.
Nice to be organised, it eases the stress that is for sure.
Great faces in the apple tree picture, looks like a nice crop still to be had.

hope the boys enjoyed the apple bobbing, he certainly is a handsome young man with his new haircut

Love the beach photo! Glad to hear you’re feeling more organised and less stressed. How exciting that Burton has started his Harry Potter journey! My boys loved HP almost as much as me, but I couldn’t persuade my daughter to read it 🙁

The walk sounds very invigorating and the beach looks like a lovely spot too. I thought of you last week in half term as we shopped at what I think must be your local tesco?! Glad your juggling things well xx

Lots of lovely outdoor pictures as usual. I love the idea of coming home to a baked potato for lunch each day – perfect for colder weather. Hope Burton enjoys his Harry Potter journey as much as H has

It has gotten a lot colder last week. Well done on the walk, looks a beautiful view at the top. Sounds like you are organised. Love the boys costumes. Hope Burton enjoys Harry Potter, my boys love it x

Love that last photo and did laugh at the Harry Potter shot, bless him. It’s got so cold, so quickly hasn’t it #366

Love the first and last photos and Burton’s new haircut. Very grown up indeed 🙂 I find my boys holding their books like that!
