#GBBOBloggers2016 Week 2: Biscuits – Star Baker & Bake Round Up

cardamom and saffon iced biscuits 2b

What a fantastic number of amazing bakes for week 2 of the #GBBOBloggers2016, thank you so much to each and everyone of you who took the time to bake and ice biscuits, pipe Viennese Whirls, and construct a magnificent 3D Gingerbread Masterpiece.  It has been really , really hard trying to choose Star Bakers –again! It has taken me almost all night – again!

So without further ado, let me present the Star Bakers for Biscuit week:

For Iced Biscuits the badge goes to Jacqueline from Recipes Made Easy for these pretty little Iced Sweetheart Biscuits

I was really stuck for Viennese Whirls – there were seriously good looking whirls all with their own shapes, sizes and flavours, In the end I went with a flavour that I feel is a winner in my book – so well done to Cathy from Wishful Wonderings for her Millionaires Viennese Whirls  , after all Millionaire Slices are so heavenly!

Finally the 3D Gingerbread Creations, all 3 of which were outstanding – well done to Louise and Angela who made some amazing structures. However,  I have decided to award Hannah the Star Baker badge for her Cage diving with Great White Sharks in Australia, which was even 30cm high (love how Paul has a ruler for that on the show!).  I feel she put into so much effort and so much detail, including photos from her actual sea dive, and I loved how seeing her in gingerbread form in her scuba gear!

BUT also HUUUUUGE thanks and well done to everyone else.

If the 3 Star Bakers would like badge for their blog like this:

Then please message me so I can email one over.

Next week is bread week – and I have to share this which the GBBO FB page shared earlier today

  1. Really impressed with these bakes – very well deserved star bakers! The gingerbread creation is especially wonderful – even Paul would have to be impressed with that!
